Though I have never experienced any problems with CodePlex's Git. Neither with Telstra nor with Optus. Yes I am from Melbourne. :) Thus I guess all these problem are only with their SVN and Hg (though now CodePlex doesn't even recommend using Hg). Thus for me it's not a problem as I am only using their Git.

This is what I wanted to hear. At the first look wiki and issues looked very similar and I wanted to hear from someone who used it. Though I like CodePlex releases support better.

This is in fact something that one cannot ignore. Yes, as much as it sounds lame.
